THE MODIFICATION OF THE MINIMUM GROSS SALARY GUARANTEED IN PAYMENT

Starting January 1, 2020 the minimum gross salary  per country guaranteed, not including increments and other additions, is:

The term “foreign” refers to a person who does not have the Romanian citizenship, the citizenship of another Member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area or the citizenship of the Swiss Confederation.

Highly qualified workplace is the workplace of a person who, for the purpose of pursuing a real and actual employment, for the benefit or under the coordination of another person, is paid and has the necessary appropriate and specific skills, demonstrated by higher professional qualifications.

Highly qualified workers are foreigners working in the Romanian territory on a highly qualified work place, with an individual contract of indefinite duration or for a determined period of at least one year, concluded with an employer on the basis of the work permit.

 

Attention!

  1. The minimum basic gross salary per country guaranteed in the payment in cash does not include bonuses and other bonuses;
  2. All rights and obligations established by law in relation to the minimum gross basic salary per country guaranteed in payment are determined by reference to the level of 2,230 lei of the gross minimum basic salary per country guaranteed in payment.
