According to the modifications, the importers who achieved in the past calendar year or in the last 12 months previous to the month when the issue of the certificate is requested, imports from third territories and states amounting to at least Lei 100 million, may request the issue of the certificate of exemption from the payment of VAT at customs. This amount does not include the import of products which bear harmonized duties.
