On the date when this law comes into force the quantum of the daily allowance which can be given to employees for travel purposes outside Romania, shall be decreased by 25%, according to HG 518/1995. The quantum of allowances granted for raising a child shall be decreased by 15%, including those currently under payment. If the calculations show a quantum lower than Lei 600, Lei 600 shall be the amount granted.
Also, the legal dispositions regarding the subscription for anticipated pension and partial anticipated pension shall no longer apply starting with the date this law comes into force.
This law also includes the other salary reductions for public employees, unemployment allowances, as well as the abrogation of certain aid amounts granted from the budget (new born trousseau, financial support for starting a family etc.). For births occurred until the coming into force of this law, as well as for marriages concluded until this date, the rights shall be determined under the conditions of the initial normative acts and shall be requested for payment by August 31st 2010 the latest.
